With this experiential tour to Arquà Petrarca we’ll discover the second most beautiful medieval villages in Italy, located at foot of Mount Piccolo and Mount Ventolone. Francesco Petrarca, one of the most famous Italian poets, made this enchanting place his home.

We will visit Petrarch's House and let the soft lines of the outlines of the Euganean Hills, which can be glimpsed from the windows of the ancient residence, fascinate us.
His "small house, decorous and noble," as Petrarch himself called it, is still a rare gem set in this ancient village where time seems almost to have stopped. Inside we will admire the frescoed rooms commissioned by Paolo Valdezzocco, who owned the house in the 16th century.

Another peculiarity of Arquà is the presence of a deep-rooted eno-gastronomic tradition.

In order to give you an experience that encompasses all the souls of this village, we will take you to a renowned oil mill. Here, the owner will explain the production process of extra virgin olive oil, of which, finally, there will be a guided tasting.
Next, we will enter one of the historic shop of delicacies, where the owner will guide us through the typical products of Arquà Petrarca: pickles, pickles in oil, jams and the famous Brodo di Giuggiole (“Jujubes broth”, a liqueur made of jujubes).
